I am a Professor of Sociology and University Faculty Scholar at North Carolina State University. I am also Interim Department Head for our Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

I study social networks, social capital, labor markets, and economic inequality. You can find out more about my research here or on my Google Scholar site.
